Greetings in the name of Jesus.

The bible reading I’ve always found appropriate for this day is John 13. The image of Jesus washing the disciples feet, taking the roll of a servant, even as he knew what was coming is powerful. I’ve actually wondered if we learn more about Jesus from this one event then any other in the gospels.

We do have a gathering on Good Friday; however, this is not a “traditional” service from a Bloor Central point of view. On Friday we will be focusing on sacred reflection of events connected with Jesus death on the cross. It might be helpful to prepare by looking at the scripture passages we will be using.

  • Luke 23:33-43

  • John 19:30

Our time on Friday will be divided into “LISTEN - REFLECT - PRAY”.
