Link #100 - HEY JESUS SHOWS UP!

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

What a week it has been as spring is beginning to make itself known. This has been a great week for thanksgiving and we had some wonderful answers to prayer this week. All this excitement prepares us for a wonderful weekend of ministry. We hope to see you at our community meal (7 ate 9) tonight from 4-6, and also at our SUNDAY WORD gathering tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am.

In these days between the Easter resurrection and accension day (May 18) we read in the bible that Jesus appeared on several occasions. Last week Karen mentioned when Jesus appeared to Mary as she was weeping. There was a time when the disciples had locked themselves in a room and Jesus shows up there as well. In the Gospel of John we even read of a time Jesus showed up to make the disciples breakfast. Does Jesus still show up in our day? As we explore some of these events where the risen Christ revealed himself to others I hope we can recognize his ongoing presence in our lives.
