Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Make sure to enjoy this last weekend of summer (for the kids at school it is anyway). Part of that should include Sunday morning at Bloor Central. We do have a special surprise this week that will help you extend your summer joy for at least one more day.

The real news for Sunday though is that we will be looking back at our 8 week journey from Loneliness to Community. Specifically this week we explore the gift of friendship that has been offered to us. How do we live that out in a city paralyzed by loneliness? Understanding our purpose in the city provides us at Bloor Central with a wonderful sense of purpose. This weeks bible lesson can mobilize us for the new “school year” we are entering. Join us on Sunday at 10am.

Don’t forget that our Community Meal will re-boot next Saturday (September 7). This year we are kicking it off with a BBQ (trying to fit as many in as we can before winter). Join us Saturday September 7 from 4-6pm.
