Link #191 - Facing Fear with a Friend

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Compared is a fairly quiet weekend by most Bloor Central standards. The only gathering scheduled for this weekend is our SUNDAY WORD at 10:30 this Sunday morning. Although there is not a lot of activity this weekend we would not want you to assume it is not important. This Sunday we will be looking at the issue of fear as it affects our ability to connect with God, ourselves and others. Is it possible that at the root of your loneliness you will find it is being fed by fear?

Not only will we look at the affects fear has on us building healthy friendships, we will see that friendship can actually equip us to live beyond our fear. The scripture has some exciting news on how to face our fear with a friend.

It is 2 weeks this Saturday we will be re-booting our Community Meal. This year we kick it off with a BBQ. That is on September 7, 4-6pm.
