It seems everyone is enjoying the “lazy” days of summer but the excitement at Bloor Central keeps coming! We’d like to encourage you to take special note of this weeks LINK as we don’t want anyone to miss out. Listed below are coming events in order of when they are happening - not necessarily in order of priority.
Community Meal.
Saturday July 27 - 4-6pm. Tomorrow is the last community meal we have for the summer. This week we’ve got “BREAKFAST FOR SUPPER”. The food is always great but it is the fellowship that really makes this a special evening. Please remember that the Community Meal is closed for August and will reopen Saturday, September 7.
SUNDAY WORD , July 28 10am. “The good news about LONELINESS”.
How can there be any “good news” about anything as painful as loneliness? As we can understand the roots of loneliness (and in fact the roots of humanity itself) it might surprise you where loneliness actually comes from. As we understand where the pian of loneliness comes from we can actually find at the very center of it - good news.
24/7 PRAYER WEEK, August 11-18.
This summer we launch an event we’ve not done since covid; however, the 24/7 has been a big part of Bloor Central life in the past. We commit the week of August 11-18 to create a place of prayer at 789 Dovercourt and hope as many people as possible will particiapate. We will get you familiar with the format as the time draws near but we’d like to encourage you to set some time aside in the week to join in. It could turn out to be the most significant week of the year for Bloor Central and for you.
