Link #184 - LONELINESS - IT’S NOT A LIFE SENTENCE!

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

This is a big weekend at Bloor Central! Tomorrow (Saturday) we are heading up to Jacksons Point for a day at The Salvation Army camp together. The busses are booked up and leave 8:15am. Some people have arranged their own transportation which is great. However, if you are making your own way up to the camp please let us know so we know who is there. We need to make sure we have enough food.

It is important that we let others know about the picnic because it means there will not be a community meal this Saturday (July 20). Please get the word out to anyone who might be expecting us to be at Bloor Central for our regular meal. The last Community meal of the summer will be next Saturday July 27. The meal is then closed for August and opens again on September 7.

On Sunday we continue our study in loneliness. For some of us we’ve dealt with loneliness for so long it feels like there is no escape. But the bible gives us some clear instruction on this - there is a way out. We look forward to joining together with you on Sunday at 10am to celebrate the wonderful gift of FRIENDSHIP.
