Greetings in the name of Jesus.

I just wanted to remind you that today is the beginning of Lent. This is a special season in the Christmas calendar as people begin focusing on Good Friday and Easter - now 40 days away. Many people will make a special effort over these months to make more room for God in their lives so they can be prepared for the wonder of Easter. The tradition of “fasting” can take many forms. Some people will set up some kind of fast from food, or coffee, or social media… There are many examples of creative ways we can deny ourselves of something in our lives that will somehow make more room for us to practice our conscious contact with God.

As we move towards Good Friday and Easter may all the wonder of what God has done for us through Jesus be yours.
