Link #95 “IT AIN’T OVER” (part 2)

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Lots of stuff going on at Bloor Central this weekend. Lets start with the community meal on Saturday (we call it “7 ate 9”). This week we serve one of our favorite meals - SLOPPY JOES - along with perhaps the best soup we’ve every produced. Drop by this Saturday between 4-6pm and you can check out our “Cream of Cauliflower” soup! It is a great opportunity to connect with our community and the soup this week is a big bonus.

On Sunday we continue our season of Lent as we again spend time getting to know Jesus. Last week we looked at the experience Mary and Martha had with Jesus as they dealt with their grief. This week we will look at the conclusion of that story. It is a resurrection story that helps us prepare for Easter. PLEASE NOTE. We had a number of people away last week for various reasons. If you were away last week please know we have posted the bible teaching on our youtube channel so you can get caught up with what we are doing in John 11. This weeks lesson will be far more significant if you come understanding what we did last week. We are trying to get back in the rythm of posting our lessons on youtube to keep better connected which we hope will be helpful.

I guess as you look at the line up for the weekend it seems like just an average week a Bloor Central, but there is nothing average about anything at Bloor Central. I hope you are looking forward to join in.
