Link #70 - BLESSED…
Greetings in the name of Jesus.
We hope you can join us this week for SUNDAY WORD as we continue through our look at the Beatitudes. This week we look at what might be the most practical bible lesson ever taught at Bloor Central (yes really). “Blessed are those who mourn…”. A few weeks ago we discussed what it meant to be “broken” and recognized that many of us struggle to face the pain in our lives which leads to brokenness in our lives. The reason we consider this weeks lesson so practical is that we will be deal with how to face our pain. Perhaps most significant is that we will be recognizing that we are not left alone in our pain. If you can’t join us on Sunday we hope you will check out the bible lesson on our youtube channel. As we move through this very foundational teaching we want to encourage all of you to take in the “whole package” regarding our current bible teaching. It is impossible to understand any of the Beatitudes without understanding what it is to be “broken” or “blessed”. Also, it is impossible to understand the significance of the later beatitudes without knowing the earlier ones (eg. we need to understand “Blessed are the poor…” before we will understand “Blessed are those who mourn”). So as you prepare for this Sunday take some time to make sure you are caught up on the last 3 weeks on youtube. We sure look forward to seeing you Sunday, 10am at Bloor Central
