Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Five more sleeps till Christmas and at Bloor Central we are really getting pumped up. Lets review all we have happening between now and Christmas morning.

• SATURDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY MEAL

Please be reminded there is NO COMMUNITY MEAL THIS SATURDAY. The next meal will be served on January 4, 2025.

• SUNDAY WORD - 10am Sunday morning

This is the last Sunday before Christmas and traditionally this is an important Sunday in advent. The first three Sundays we lit candles for hope, peace, and joy. Now this week we light a candle for love. We can learn so much about Gods love as we consider Gods contact list and if it does not shock you it should. On Sunday morning we’ll take some time considering how God announced the birth of Jesus and how that changes our understanding of Christmas. We can see Gods heart and mind revealed and believe me - it is something to celebrate.

• BLOORSTOCK - 6pm Sunday evening

This is the high point of the season as far as our fellowship at the Church. Our Christmas concert is made up of enjoying the music of Bloor Central. We have people that have prepared some items, we’ll also have time to sing Christmas carols, we have refreshments, it really is a great time for us to hang out together. We have quite a variety of people who attend including our Church family, volunteers, neighbors, friends from outside the city, so please feel free to invite anyone who might enjoy it.

• THE BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY IN THE WORLD

In terms of outreach the high point of our year is our Christmas Party on Christmas Day. We have a great Christmas dinner planned along with music, games, karaoke, photo booth etc.. Everyone is invited so there is no reason for anyone to be on their own. Doors open at 11:30am and we keep going through the 3pm.

• KETTLES

Just a reminder that we have a few days left with the Christmas Kettles out receiving funds from the public that we use for our Community Meal program through the year. If you have some time between now and Tuesday that you can offer a hand please leave a message on his cell phone and he’ll call you back (416-436-0331).
