Greetings in the name of Jesus.

We are looking forward to another weekend of ministry at Bloor Central. On Saturday our staff and volunteers are putting together a meal for us to share with the community. If you have never joined us for a Community Meal on Saturday from 4-6pm we’d love to have you drop by. This meal gives us a wonderful opportunity to connect with our city as guests from many different parts of the city visit us. Please join us and bring a friend along.

On Sunday we begin a short bible series on a “story in a story”. This week and next we will be getting to know two very different people that shared a desperate desire to connect with the Lord. As they pursued Jesus they found far more then either of them expected. This weeks story reminds us that even though we live in a city where it is easy to be overlooked, Jesus always stops for us when we reach out. That is right, you are important to him. You are so important that he stops for you.

One other quick reminder that our summer picnic up at Jacksons Point is taking place on July 20. That means that we will not be serving a community meal on that Saturday. If you would like to join us and have your own transportation the BBQ lunch will cost $10. If you want to get a seat on the bus it will be $20 for the round trip bus ride and for the BBQ lunch. We will start to take bookings for the trip June 15.
