Link #78 - WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT CHRISTMAS.

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Some people will say “I love everything about Christmas!”. Not me. There is so much hope to celebrate this season, but there are lot of traditions that can actually distract us from that hope. We face an urgency to make sure that the traditions of Christmas do not blind us to the hope of Christmas. That is what Advent is about, making sure we are ready. At SUNDAY WORD this week our focus will be on the hope, the light in the darkness that Christmas offers. Join us on Sunday morning at 10am. If you can’t make it we continue to post the bible teaching on our youtube channel.

This weekend does offer other opportunities to participate in the life of Bloor Central. On Saturday night we meet for our community meal from 4-6:30pm. Then on Sunday evening we will be gathering at Dovercourt Park for “Carols by the Fire”. It is a nice opportunity for the Bloor Central family to get together and enjoy some Christmas carols, bonfire and hot chocolate together.

Here we go again … another weekend full of ministry at Bloor Central.
