Greetings from the name of Jesus.

In an information age we recognize the power that comes from information. In fact information has become a currency that we can give us power over others. For many this has become their motive for seeking God. They hope that their connection with God will provide them with information that will give them power, over others, over their circumstances, over their fear… Our connection with God does in fact promise us power - but not the kind of self serving power many are after. The power God promises us is so much more. On Sunday we will explore how God releases power into our lives. Join us Sunday at 10am for our Pentecost edition of SUNDAY WORD.

We hope you are also looking forward to our Community Meal this Saturday from 4-6pm. It is a great opportunity to share a meal with each other, and with friends in our neighborhood. This week we have minestrone soup to start off, followed by an Italian sausage on a bun with sauteed peppers and onions, a garden salad with thousand island dressing, and for desert chocolate yogurt with banana and toasted coconut.
