Link #197 - The Weekend

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

Another beautiful day and another beautiful weekend to be at Bloor Central. Our community dinner is up and running on Saturday. Come join us as we connect with our neighborhood from 4-6pm. You can bring a friend, or meet a new friend, or both!

On Sunday Karen will be continuing the message she introduced last Sunday. Last week we were looking at the story of Jehoshaphat from 2 Chronicles 2:20. The Israelites were faced with powerful enemies coming against them but in the midst of the battle Jeohoshaphat did everything right.  He turned to God first.  He talked to God, told Him exactly how he was feeling.  He trusted God and God spoke to them and told them not to be afraid or discouraged for the battle was not theirs but His. This week we will continue to see how this powerful story ends! SUNDAY WORD is a time we focus on seeking God. We’d love to have you join us in that quest. It happens at 789 Dovercourt on Sundays as 10am

This Thursday we will begin our screening of “THE CHOSEN” season two. We showed season one in the spring and it was a great opportunity to explore the life and ministry of Jesus together. We begin at 7pm Thursday and hope you will join us.
