Link #141 - STAY IN TOUCH!
Greetings in the name of Jesus.
As 2024 gets into full swing we want to encourage everyone to stay in touch. We have lots happening and it is important that we keep the community connected so nobody gets left behind. This weekend our Community Dinner (7ate9) is being served from 4-6pm on Saturday. On Sunday we continue to seek God together 10am on Sunday morning at SUNDAY WORD. Last week we began looking at Psalm 23 which introduced us to the need we have of a Shepherd. This Sunday we continue with Psalm 23 as we recognize “What is the big deal about a shepherd?”. I can promise you that if you join us for these series of bible lessons you will never hear the 23rd Psalm the same.
There are some events coming up that we want everyone to be informed about.
THE CHOSEN. This is an 8 part video series that introduces us to the life of Jesus in a very creative way. We are going to be meeting on THURSDAY EVENINGS AT 8PM STARTING JANUARY 25. Please note the change in our starting date.
SKATING. The rink at Dufferin Grove Park has re-opened and so we are getting back in our tradition to go skating together. After the service on FEBRUARY 4 we will head over to the park for some exercise and fun together. They do have skates available for borrowing so it could be a great change for some to try skating for the first time.
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. Bloor Central is becoming well known for our Super Bowl Parties. The big game is scheduled for FEBRUARY 11 this year so plan on joining us.
